Coachella and all the amazing festival looks that surely we all have seen all over the media these days has got me super inspired, and eventhough i am not even close to those festivals that does not mean i can't enjoy a good -coachella like- look right?; that is why i put together this outfit featuring the most perfect detailed (in my opinion) white lace dress i have seen yet!; i love the functionality of it as i can dress it a little more edgy like i did here or make it look super girly and delicate just by matching it with -lady like- heels and the right accessories, but as i was going for a more exciting and festival look i paired it with these -killer- H&M ankle boots, wool black hat and let's not forget my old friends... Metallic Tattoos!! i thought it would a fun detail to it and i simply love them!.

Hope you lovelies enjoy this outfit and get inspired after seeing it, and most importantly remember to always have fun with your clothes, don't get frustrated over factors like not attending certain event or not having a room full of clothes, just put your creativity to work and find a way to create different looks with the same garment you probably already own!.

Coachella y todos los looks típicos de festival que hemos visto en las redes sociales durante estos días me han inspirado muchísimo, y aunque no estoy ni cerca de estos eventos no quiere decir que no pueda disfrutar de un buen look -estilo Coachella- ; por eso arme este atuendo con este vestido de encajes con las detalles mas hermosos que he visto!, me encanta por la funcionalidad del mismo ya que puedo vestirlo de modo mas arriesgado o -edgy- como hice aquí o puedo simplemente hacerlo lucir totalmente delicado y femenino combinándolo con unos tacones muy -lady like- y los accesorios adecuados, pero en este caso me fui mas por un look divertido y arriesgado digno de Coachella usando estos botines negros al tobillo de H&M y un sombrero negro de lana, pero no nos olvidemos de mis viejos amigos... los tatuajes metálicos!!, pienso que le dan un toque especial que simplemente amo!.

Espero que les guste este atuendo y sirva para inspirarlas y como siempre les digo, recuerden siempre divertirse a la hora de vestir y no se frustren por factores como no poder asistir a un evento en especial o no tener un cuarto lleno de ropa, el truco es poner a trabajar nuestra creatividad y buscar la forma de armar diferentes looks alrededor de la misma prenda!

Stripes is one of those trends that has stick with us throughout the years.. and 2016 is no exception to that rule, we have seen them all over the runways this Spring\Summer season in all sort of sizes and directions, and now i think is time to take it to the streets and rock it!!.. But in order to do so, first we need to leave aside the concerns that we ALL have when it comes to choose a striped garment worrying about this making us look -wider- than we really are.. as we always have heard the story of the bad (horizontal) & good (vertical) stripes being these last ones worldwide known for making us look taller and slimmer.. but, what if i told you that some researches has come to a conclusion that either of them can make you look -thin- but it just depends on the width of the stripe.. yes! you heard me!; the thinner stripes being the most flattering and -slimming- ones.. versus the wide ones that could work for you if you are looking for is to add a little more volume and dimension to certain part of your body.

Leaving that behind... we can move on and talk about this outfit, it features a dress that defy all those rules having stripes in both Horizontal and Vertical directions in different areas of the body all in the SAME garment, showing that we shouldn't be afraid of challenging ourselves and some -fashion rules- we see out there and just try on the garment knowing what actually works for our figure and especially having in mind that depends on the result you want you will choose either a wide or thin stripe.

I paired this striped dress with a light blue -biker- like jacket that also has stripes, but are extremely thin almost invisible to the eye, i kept the palette very neutral and soft using pastel tones inspired in the current Pantone colors of the year.

Rayas es una de esas tendencias que permanecen con nosotros al pasar de los años.. y 2016 no es una excepción a dicha regla, las hemos visto en todas las pasarelas esta temporada Primavera/Verano en diferentes tamaños y direcciones, y ahora pienso que es tiempo de llevar esta tendencia a las calles y Rock it! .. Pero para poder hacerlo, necesitamos primero dejar de lado las preocupaciones adquiridas a la hora de elegir cualquier prenda a rayas en el cual nos preocupamos de no escoger la correcta y que esta pueda hacernos lucir mas -anchos- de lo que realmente somos.. ya que siempre hemos escuchado la historia de las malas (horizontales) y buenas (verticales) rayas, siendo estas ultimas conocidas mundialmente por hacernos lucir altos y estilizados.. pero que si les digo que recientes investigaciones han llegado a la conclusión de cualquiera de las dos pueden hacernos lucir -delgados- solo depende de el ancho de la raya.. Si! así como escuchan!; siendo las mas delgaditas mas favorecedoras creando una ilusión óptica que nos hace lucir mas finos y las mas anchas funcionando mejor para los casos en los que se necesite agregar volumen o dimensión a cierta parte del cuerpo.

Dejando eso atrás.. podemos continuar y pasar a hablar de este atuendo, presentamos un vestido que desafía todas las reglas que hemos escuchado siempre, contando con rayas en sentido Horizontal y Vertical en diferentes areas del cuerpo todo esto en el mismo vestido!, demostrando que no debemos tener miedo de atrevernos a romper algunas -reglas de moda- y probar con una prenda así, sabiendo ya lo que funciona o no para nuestro tipo de cuerpo y especialmente teniendo en cuenta que de acuerdo al resultado que busquemos podemos elegir entre rayas anchas o finas.

Combiné este vestido a rayas con una chaqueta estilo -biker- la cual tiene unas rayas muy muy finas casi invisibles a la vista, quise mantener una paleta bastante neutral y suave usando tonos pasteles inspirándome en los actuales colores Pantone del año.

Living in a tropical weather country and having a slight (BIG) obsession for everything fall/winter related.. i could only contemplate from the distance the amazing outfits & trends people are rocking all over the world in this time of the year, but i decided to not feel frustrated about it and put together a fall inspired ootd that would have the essence of the season but without me having to melt in the meantime =D. win-win right?

Earthy tones - orange hues - beautiful greens and of course burgundy which is my ultimate favorite they all are typical fall shades, so with that in mind i picked this perfect off the shoulder green top and matched it with the most amazing and fun twist of the regular (work appropriate) high waisted pants.. and the best part is that these are form fitting with an easy in and out zipper on the side, to top it all off i wore for the first time my nude "sandalia" heels by Steve Madden and gotta say i am extremely surprised by how comfortable they are! i literally wore them all day and my feet weren't killing me and they worked perfectly to add an extra touch to the look.

For the accessories i really wanted to keep it simple and give the light and attention that it deserves this breathtaking " Wedding Necklace" by Jennifer love that i got thanks to Moddlinc.com; it has such a classy look to it, made with real pearls and 23.5k gold, it doesn't only look amazing but i love the fact that i could wear it all day (i even sweat on it) and it still looked amazing, thing that i really appreciate as i get an allergic reaction whenever i sweat wearing any kind of jewelry. I wore it as a choker but you can adjust it and wear it longer so it falls beautifully on your neck.

Viviendo en un país con clima tropical y teniendo un pequeña (GRANDE) obsesión por todo lo relacionado con otoño e invierno.. solo puedo contemplar desde la distancia los increíbles atuendos y tendencias que las personas están luciendo alrededor del mundo en estas fechas, pero decidí de no frustrarme al respecto y por el contrario armar un outfit que tenga la esencia típica de estas hermosas temporadas pero sin yo tener que derretirme en el intento. 

Tonos tierra, una gran gama de verdes - naranjas - rojos y ni hablar de borgoña el cual es mi favorito!, son todos colores típicos de la temporada de Otoño, así que teniendo eso en cuenta escogí este perfecto top de H&M con hombros al descubierto y lo combiné con lo que en mi opinión es el mejor y mas divertido ¨twist¨al típico pantalón de vestir.. la mejor parte es que se adaptan a tu figura, son ligeros y tienen un cierre lateral para mayor comodidad, y para completar use por primera vez mi nuevos tacones ¨Sandalia¨ de Steve Madden en un tono Nude y debo decir que estoy gratamente sorprendida por lo confortables que son! literalmente las use todo el día y no tengo quejas! 

En cuanto a los accesorios decidí mantenerme muy minimalista y darle la atención central a este bello collar ¨Wedding Necklace¨de la marca Jennifer Love el cual obtuve gracias a Moddlinc.com; tiene unos detalles hermosos conformado por perlas y oro amarillo de 23.5k que darán un toque clásico y elegante a cualquier atuendo, y no solo luce increíble sino que la ventaja para mi fue que puedo usarlo todo el día (incluso sudar con el) sin preocuparme por tener una reacción alérgica como por lo general tengo con otras prendas. Lo usé como una gargantilla pero puede ajustarse su largo y así dejarlo caer bellamente sobre tu cuello.

The details on this kimono caught my heart right away! it is longer at the front and with such high slits on the sides and on top of it all it has a v - shape cleavage in the back that adds a sexy touch to it, as i paired it with the Rebel bodysuit and it has some crisscross straps in the back all together makes such a beautiful effect in the back, so please don't hesitate to wear your hair up like i did in some of the photos! a messy bum would be ideal for this look.

This is not a look meant to be worn outside a photography studio unless you consider yourself Lady Gaga =D but you can adapt it to an everyday look if you just add some high waisted distressed jeans or why not a skirt.. options are endless and with a bodysuit with such cool details like this one u won't need to switch to a top.

Los detalles en este kimono ganaron mi corazon de inmediato! es un poco mas largo en la parte delantera y tiene aberturas en ambos lados del cuerpo y todo esto lo complementa el bello escote en forma de V que tiene en la espalda el cual agrega un detalle muy sensual, al usarlo con este bodysuit de la marca Rebel el cual trae unas tiras entrelazadas en la parte de atras creando un bello efecto en conjunto con el kimono asi que no duden en usar el cabello recogido como lo lleve yo en algunas de las fotos! un recogido bohemio y no tan perfecto seria lo ideal para este look. 

Este atuendo no esta hecho para ser usado asi como esta fuera de un estudio fotografico a menos que te consideres Lady Gaga =D pero puede ser adaptado al uso diario con tan solo agregarle unos jeans o pantalones altos algo rasgados se me ocurre o quizas porque no una falda .. las opciones son infinitas y con un bodysuit con detalles tan cool como este no tendras que cambiarlo por un top.
